Thermal Imaging

The thermal image camera is a tool used by an inspector to aid in the inspection process.A thermal camera reads the temperature of the surface to which it is pointed. What a thermal image scan can indicate is variations of temperature in the wall that we can't see caused by termite activity, mudding and substantial damage to timber framing. It can minimise hidden problems such as:

  • wet spots whereby it locates the exact position in a space such as ceiling, wall and floor
  • leaking water pipes
  • termite activity and trails
  • hot spots due to bad insulation
  • structural anomalies.

It is considered very valuable to the inspection process and can provide you with crucial information before you make an investment.  Contact us about thermal imaging.
